Job Title: Social Media Administrator

Hours: Flexible – around 3 hours a week or slightly more depending on website activity

Job Brief

We are seeking reliable individuals who are familiar and comfortable with using social media, especially Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest to promote FemiNisa to its readership.

Duties will include:

  • Following the social media brief
  • Using the main methods of social media to promote articles and posts
  • Oversee the social media accounts and make changes where necessary and in accordance with the social media brief
  • Engage with comments on article posts keeping FemiNisa vision in mind
  • Adjust to changes made to the social media brief
  • Post on social media keeping within the deadlines or short timelines – this may include being available to maintain or post on the social media accounts at short notice, if necessary
  • Liaise with editorial team to discuss social media strategies

Experience / skills required:

  • Knowledge and experience of using Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter
  • Reliable and good communication via email and/or phone
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Be comfortable with escalating issues and requesting additional assistance
